The library is said to be the central point to coordinate teaching and learning for gathering knowledge that makes objectives of a college fulfilled. Our College Library is a Knowledge Centre which has rich resources mainly in Social Sciences and Humanities. Although library of our college was formally launched in 2001. During this short period, the library becomes one of the most important information/knowledge resource centres for the college as well as the community concerned. The Central Library is situated at the 1st floor of Golden Jubilee Building of the College with an area of 1500 sq.ft. and properly arranged and well maintained. The College Library has been maintained both open and closed access simultaneously, with a collection of approximately 12,196 books. Books are classified by using DDC19 classification schedule and catalogued by using AACR2 cataloguing schedule. The Library is fully automated by Koha. Users can access the library database from anywhere in 24x7x365 basis. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty members. But the students have only closed access. In addition to the Central Library, every department has a seminar library. These seminar libraries have been built up with the aim of providing easy access of books. Seminar libraries are being totally controlled by the department concerned. Library organizes some motivational programmes like Debate, Poster Competitions, World Book Day celebrations, Book Exhibitions, Book Fair, Book Talk Programmes, etc.
